About Digital Stone

How it works

Digital Stone is a place where messages are carved into a public digital stone.

You can submit a message of up to 250 characters. Each new message starts with a value based on the current highest-valued real message.

Messages are ranked by their current value. The highest-valued message is #1.

You can increase the value of an existing message by paying the difference between its current value and the value required to reach the desired position. A message can be TOPped more than once.

The #1 message cannot be TOPped directly.

If several messages have the same value, the message that reached that value earlier is ranked first.

The Archive keeps every real message.

Founder’s messages

At the beginning, the TOP 10 may contain Founder’s messages. These messages are provided by Digital Stone to demonstrate how the system works.

Founder’s messages are not real user messages and do not affect the price of new messages or the ranking of real messages.

When a Founder’s message is TOPped, it becomes a real message and is then treated in exactly the same way as any other message.
